Overview

Using the REST API Web Connector in Power BI, you can bring invoice data from Invoice-Parse into your dashboards for real-time insights.

Step-by-Step Tutorial

  1. Access your API token from your Invoice-Parse account settings.
  2. In Power BI Desktop, go to Get Data → Web.
  3. Use the URL https://www.invoice-parse.com/api/list/v1/ and add the header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN.
  4. Transform the JSON response using Power Query to structure invoice data and line items.
  5. Create your dashboard: total invoice values, vendor breakdowns, trends, and more.
